The Details: Dinner is from 4:00pm to 6:00pm
Enjoy pasta, meat balls, garlic bread & Caesars salad for $12.
The Meat Raffle starts at 6:00pm and tickets are $5.

As you may have heard, Xcel Energy has proposed the Ten Mile Creek Solar Project that could permanently alter up to 5,000 acres of prime farmland in Erin Prairie and Hammond townships. Xcel Energy’s latest press release indicated that they intend to apply for their permit with the Wisconsin Public Service Commission (PSC) in 2026.

Save Our Heartland Co. is planning to intervene with the permitting process at the PSC so we can educate the decision makers about the health and safety effects an industrial scale solar project can have on a community like ours. Our goal is to raise money for an attorney and possibly expert witnesses to help us navigate the process. Your donation will help us retain the professionals we need to assist and represent our community at the Public Service Commission proceedings.

Our mission is to preserve farmland, create a strong sense of community, and foster a healthier environment for the people in St. Croix County, WI and future generations. We do this by educating residents about more sustainable farming practices and land use, community engagement, and fighting against corporate takeover of our lands. 

Save Our Heartland Co. is a WI nonprofit corporation. We have applied for federal tax exempt status under sec. 501(c)(3) with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). If approved, your donation will retroactively qualify as a deductible charitable contribution to the extent the law provides.
