Meet the editor behind this site...

Hi! I am Hannah Goette

I'm a local business owner and resident in St. Croix county. I created this site to educate and inform people about the proposed Xcel Ten Mile Creek solar project.

We are your Neighbors

We live in St. Croix county. This is our home too. We decided to come together and do something about the Ten Mile Creek Solar project.

Uncovering the Truth

There are so many parts to this project that it takes time to understand it's entire scope.

A Grassroot movement

We are concerned citizens in the community who care about what will happen in St. Croix county.

Connecting St. Croix County

We want to give our community a voice. How does this affect you? What concerns to do you have?

Health and Safety

One of our biggest concerns is how this project will affect the health and safety of citizens who live near and far from the solar complex.

Environmental Impact

What will happen to the land, the water, the habitat for animals, and the overall landscape that will forever be changed if this project is approved?

Local News & Events

We want to help you stay connected to what is happening locally regarding this project.

What You Can Do

You might be asking yourself, so what can I do? You can do a lot and we want to be that resource for you.

JOIN OUR TEAM

Fired up but don't know what to do? We want you...

Join the cause

Come work with us. Put in as much time as you want to. We need help passing out flyers, researching, social media engagement, community out reach, writing articles, videography, conducting interviews, graphic/web design and event planning to name a few. If you are willing to help we can find a place for you.

5000 acres of pristine farmland
Approx. 2000 panels per acre
That’s almost 8 square miles of solar panels
Enough to cover the city of New Richmond
10 acre energy substation
Transmission lines through backyards
Neighborhoods surrounded
Cut off wild life corridors
